Business Development Representative

Position Summary

Ease is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a self-motivated Inside Sales Representative that will be focused on developing business selling a leading-edge, cloud-based solution for the automotive and aerospace manufacturing industries. The Inside Sales Representative role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from the first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service.   • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Achieve quarterly lead generation targets set by sales and marketing management
  • Generate new leads and manage a sales pipeline
  • Reach monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets as set forth by the company
  • Create proposals and manage prospects through the sales process
  • Coordinate with Customer Support, Engineering, and Implementation teams
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of current industry trends and changes


  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Possess a hunter mentality
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Comfortable working in a small company environment
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Experience selling SaaS and/or mobile software/technology
  • Sales experience in the Automotive or Aerospace industries or their supply chains.
  • Experience working with manufacturers or other large organizations that require multiple approvals such as IT, procurement, etc.
  • Multi-lingual preferred including Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, or German
