About the Product – EASE IQ
EASE IQ is our newest product offering, bringing AI-powered digital assistants and plant teams together to drive operational excellence. Using cameras, sensors, and machine data, these assistants continuously monitor plant-floor conditions to identify issues early, alert the right teams, and help accelerate resolution.
Position Summary
Ease.io is seeking a front-end focused Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in building modern, scalable, and intuitive user experiences for EASE IQ. You will work closely with product, design, and back-end engineers to translate complex operational and AI-driven workflows into clear, performant, and maintainable applications.
The ideal candidate brings a solid technical foundation, agile software development experience, and a deep understanding of scalable front-end web applications. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys building high-quality user experiences and contributing to scalable front-end patterns as the product grows.
Position Location: Hybrid - At least 3 days in Irvine office
Annual Salary Range: $160,000-$190,000

What You'll Do
- Build modern applications. Create high-quality user experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Turn complexity into clarity. Design interfaces that make AI-driven and plant-floor data easy to understand and act on.
- Shape shared foundations. Build and extend reusable design system components and libraries.
- Connect the product experience. Integrate front-end applications with back-end systems through REST APIs.
- Influence how the front end grows. Help shape scalable patterns, shared libraries, and engineering standards.
- Support modularity. Build shared libraries and reusable front-end patterns.
- Raise the quality bar. Contribute to automated testing, including Playwright end-to-end test coverage.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production applications with a strong front-end focus.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience building reusable UI components and contributing to design systems or shared component libraries.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance, and maintainable front-end patterns.
- Experience with modern styling approaches such as Tailwind CSS.
- Experience contributing to automated front-end testing, including Playwright end-to-end tests.
- Experience working effectively with AI-assisted development tools or in AI-first development environments.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React Native and mobile application development.
- Experience with Radix UI, shadcn/ui, or similar component and design system tooling.
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Recharts.
- Experience building modular, maintainable front-end applications with shared libraries or reusable patterns.
